Xiaomi launched its first Mini PC on Sunday, 18 December. Company has made the announcement at their latest launch event. It was the same event where they had revealed their Xiaomi 13 series flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi buds 4, and the Xiaomi Watch S2.
The Mini PC launched by Xiaomi is equipped with a Core i5 12th Gen CPU. It has 12-cores, 16-thread diversified design, and has maximum frequency of 4.4GHz. The Xiaomi Mini PC comes bound with 16GB RAM and will also be available in a storage free version also.
This Mini PC will run on Windows 11 out-of-the-box. The other devices that were announced on Sunday along with the Mini PC are, Xiaomi Watch S2, Xiaomi Buds 4, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Xiaomi Mini PC Specifications, Price & Availability
Xiaomi has set the price of the newly launched Mini PC at CNY 3999 ( Roughly INR 47,400) for the standard version having an inbuilt storage of 512GB. On the other hand, at a price of CNY 2,999 (approx. INR 35,500) company will also sell a storage-free variant of the Mini PC.
Standard version of this PC is already on sale in China at an introductory offer price of CNY 3,699 (roughly INR 43,800). The storage free-version will also be made available to the customers of China from this month.
Xiaomi is shipping this Mini PC with Windows 11 pre-loaded. It also features Intel Iris Xe graphics (80 UEs) with ports for adding external hard drives and graphic cards.Users have the option to switch from Windows to ESXI, OpenWRT, Ubuntu and UNRAID operating systems.
Both the standard and the storage-free versions pack 16GB DDR4RAM, while the standard version also includes 512 GB PCle4.SSD. You can extend the RAM and Storage to 32 GB and 4TB, respectively.
Xiaomi Mini PC also sports a 4600 RPM fan with a dual heat pipe draining system is for its cooling, as stated by the company. If we talk about the design, this pc has a square-shaped aluminum body.
For connectivity, this PC has Bluetooth v5.3 and Wi-fi 802.11ax support. This device also features a 3.5mm standard headphone jack, an Ethernet port, one USB Type-A 2.0 port, two thunderbolt ports, two HDMI 2.1 ports three USB 3.4 Type-A Gen 2 ports. It measures 112mm x 112mm x 38mm and has a weight of 437g.
