Haryana Roadways recognised driver Sushil Kumar and conductor Paramjeet on Friday for saving cricketer Rishabh Pant, who was involved in a vehicle accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway near Roorkee on Friday.
Rishabh Pant was driving from Delhi to Roorkee when his automobile crashed with a divider near Hammadpur Jhal on the Narsan boundary of Roorkee.
Pant, who was driving alone, had injuries to his back, forehead, and leg. Pant was driving when he got involved in an accident on the Delhi-Dehradun route. The automobile was completely destroyed in the images from the crash.
Sushil Kumar, the bus driver, and Paramjeet, the conductor, seen an uncontrolled automobile ram over the divider at Gurukul Narsan. They dashed towards the automobile to assist the passenger. “We have honoured them, and the state government will honour them for their humanitarian work,” said Panipat Bus Depot general manager K Jangra.
“As we hauled him (Rishabh Pant) out, the car took fire and went destroyed in 5-7 seconds. He has severe back injuries. “When we asked him his personal information, he stated he is an Indian team cricketer,” said bus driver Paramjeet, who saved cricketer Rishabh Pant. Former cricketer VV S Laxman rushed to Twitter to thank the Haryana Roadways workers for their assistance following Rishabh Pant’s automobile accident.

According to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Pant has two wounds on his forehead, a ligament rupture in his right knee, and injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe, as well as abrasions on his back.
Rishabh’s health is stable, and he has been sent to Max Hospital in Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to determine the extent of his injuries and plan his next course of treatment, according to a BCCI statement.
The BCCI stated it is in continual contact with Pant’s family, and the medical staff is in close contact with the physicians who are now treating him. The Board stated that it will ensure Pant obtains the greatest medical treatment and all the assistance he requires to recover from this horrible experience.
